This is the deadline for submitting an account for a salary subsidy recipient of IDR 600,000

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Program salary subsidies for general employees with a salary below Rp. 5 million it will be implemented immediately. BPJS of Employment (BPJamsostek) will immediately submit data on prospective recipients of salary subsidy assistance to the government.

President Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Agus Susanto said, disclosing the deadline for collecting recipient bank accounts subsidized salary of IDR 600,000 namely until 31 August 2020 and will continue to be evaluated.

The account numbers that have been collected are validated in layers, so that the recipient BPJS Employment salary subsidy right on target. The first validation stage is carried out with banks, then the validation is carried out internally by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

“In accordance with the discussion, our coordination with the relevant ministries, we will provide this data in stages,” said Agus.

“So we don’t wait all at once, because this is still a process. The validated account number data is ready, we will submit it to make payments immediately,” he said again.

Agus confirmed, funds Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) which will be distributed to non-BUMN and non-ASN workers will use the state budget, not from the workers’ membership funds.

“This budget comes from the government. So, this is funds from the government, not funds from BP Jamsostek participants,” he said

The government has prepared a budget of Rp. 37.7 trillion for the salary subsidy assistance program. Recipients of this salary subsidy will receive assistance of IDR 600,000 per month for 4 months. The payment is made in 2 stages or IDR 1.2 million per distribution.
