We love and know them only like that: cult films and their happy endings – or just dramas and their dark end. But some great films, such as “Pretty Woman”, “Rambo” or “Titanic” were originally supposed to end differently …
It’s hard to imagine, but many films that fans have known and loved for years – and some of them can also speak by heart – originally had a different ending. However, the makers decided to end the plot differently from the original script! And often it was better that way … Need proof?
The classic “Pretty Woman”, in which there was a real spark between Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, almost had no romantic happy ending, but a tragic bouncer scene. Conclusion: The film would have been completely different … But “Rocky” and “Titanic” almost got a completely different ending as well.
