The All New BR-V made its global debut in Indonesia, Tuesday (21/9/2021). This car is a mass production of the N7X Concept (New 7-seater eXcitement). The second generation Honda BR-V is the first car to use active safety features in the Low SUV class.

The exterior front view of the All New Honda BR-V is different from the older generation. On the fascia of the All New Honda BR-V, now featuring a new design of LED Headlamp which is equipped with LED Daytime Running Light which is integrated with the front grille.
On the back side, the All New Honda BR-V also carries a new design on the Rear Combi Lamp which is equipped with LED Light Bars designed to blend with the body lines. While from the side, the tough impression of an SUV is getting stronger with the new wheel design measuring 17 “.
First in class LSUV adopts active safety technology
The All New Honda BR-V is also equipped with advanced features such as Remote Engine Start which functions to start the vehicle engine and air conditioning automatically before entering the vehicle. Other features, such as the Walk-Away Auto Lock function to lock the door automatically when the driver has walked at least 2 meters or more from the car.
It doesn’t stop there, the Honda LaneWatchTM feature is also embedded, which gives the driver a wider view of the blind spot area, Smart Entry System to make it easier to enter the vehicle without using a key, and Auto Foldable Side Door Mirror with LED Turning Signal where the mirrors can be seen. closes automatically when the car is locked.

The All New BR-V is still the first in the Low SUV (LSUV) class to have the Honda Sensing active safety feature package. Previously this feature was only available on the Honda CR-V, Accord, and Odyssey. However, at times it is available in the All New BR-V Prestige variant with Honda Sensing (the highest type).
The following are the Honda Sensing features on the Honda BR-V which are only available for the highest model (BR-V Prestige CVT with Honda Sensing):
- Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), a system that functions to inform the driver when the vehicle stops and the vehicle in front starts to move away.
- Collision Mitigation Brake SystemTM (CMBSTM), is a system that helps when there is a possibility of a vehicle colliding with another vehicle or pedestrians detected in front. CMBSTM is designed to signal or warn when a potential collision may occur, and helps reduce vehicle speed to reduce the impact of an unavoidable collision.
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), assists the steering wheel to keep the vehicle in the detected lane and provides vibration and visuals if the vehicle is detected to be out of lane.
- Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), serves to provide a warning and if necessary make automatic corrections to the steering wheel if the driver deviates from the lane to return to the correct lane.
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), helps maintain a stable vehicle speed and adjusts the distance behind the vehicle detected in front, helps reduce speed and stop your vehicle without having to press the brakes or the gas when the detected vehicle stops.
- Auto-High Beam, this system will intuitively switch between headlights and normal lights depending on the road situation.

Some of the features above are not yet available on its competitors, such as the Daihatsu Terios, Toyota Rush, Xpander Cross, and Suzuki XL7.
