According to Mochamad Iriawan, Shin Tae-yong had trouble handling three teams at once, namely seniors, U-23 and U-20. For maximum results at the 2023 U-20 World Cup which will be held in the country, Shin Tae-yong is focused on coaching the U-20 Indonesian National Team. Therefore, Shin Tae-yong may leave the post of coach of the U-23 and senior Indonesian national teams.
“In my opinion, now he is stuck with the three age groups. So we will recommend Shin only hold the national team for the U-20 World Cup,” said Iwan Bule quoting ANTARA, Tuesday (7/6/2022).
“We are waiting for Shin to return from Kuwait. After that, we will discuss it. So later the U-23 and senior national teams will be handed over to others,” said Iwan Bule.
