Thionville. Quai Crauser continues its requalification

From this Monday morning, March 15, the borrowing of Quai Crauser by motorists circulating in Thionville during rush hour may be a little upset. Indeed, the section of road located between rue de la Poterne and place de la République will be the subject of a series of requalification works. Estimated duration of operations: two months.

Thus, this road, which will eventually accommodate the pedestrian bridge connecting the city center to the Thionville guard, will undergo several changes. Public lighting will be modernized, while pedestrian crossings will be made safe through the implementation of LED spotlights on the ground. The roadway and sidewalks will also be redone, while the green spaces will be requalified and will see the addition of ten trees. Finally, in terms of accessibility, a bus platform will also be brought up to standard.

Throughout the duration of the work, the work should not require cutting off traffic. No deviations therefore, even if traffic will nevertheless be restricted, forcing road users to take only one of the two available lanes, in one direction or the other.

As a reminder, this work is part of the continuation of the requalification of this road, which has already undergone major transformations for nearly a year.
