Thionville. A boxing fan exhibits his collection at Kinepolis

For the first time, he will step into the ring to share his passion. The Mosellen Adrien Gallizzi presents his personal collection of articles around English boxing in a special exhibition this Saturday March 4th. It is held at the Kinepolis complex in Thionville, on the occasion of the release this week of the ninth film in the series. Rocky , Creed 3. Rich in more than 1,000 heterogeneous pieces, the collection gives pride of place to shorts, tank tops, boxing gloves and other bathrobes worn by French boxing champions. “To enrich this exhibition, nearly fifteen boxers have agreed to lend me their outfits,” says Adrien Gallizzi. Some are among the best in France and Europe such as Mohamed Mimoune, Zakaria Attou or Yvan Mendy. The future star of the discipline Bakary Samake even entrusted me with his championship belt. In addition to this sports equipment, the exhibition will present a whole gallery of accessories related to English boxing: the Rocky films of course (on VHS!) and other feature films, magazines and newspapers from the 80s- 90, video games and photographs… “I even have a vinyl with the legend Mohamed Ali on the cover! The 30-year-old will be present all afternoon at Kinepolis to guide visitors through his cave of ”Ali Balboa”.

A planned museum

His passion for English boxing was born in the summer of 2000. A certain Brahim Asloum then became Olympic boxing champion.
