They’re going to tear the Biden gang apart – 2024-03-12 08:43:43

/ world today news/ There is enough evidence of the crimes of the Biden family to continue the impeachment trial of the president. The corresponding resolution was adopted in the House of Representatives. Biden himself called the process a “political stunt,” “based on lies.” Now he, as a mafia don, is faced with a choice: his own son or power. What will Biden choose?

Of all the issues facing him and the United States, President Joe Biden is most frustrated and angered by the attacks on his son Hunter. Therefore, only a few people around the head of state have the right to raise this topic.

Axios, a publication serious enough to be believed, reports this, citing its sources in the White House: some top managers of the portal previously worked directly for Biden. Now their team claims that the president is blaming himself for his son’s problems: if he hadn’t run for president, there wouldn’t be any problems.

It is entirely possible that this is the case. But remorse casts Joe Biden in a double light.

On the one hand, he can claim the title of father of the year. Because the president’s own record is bad. His party is divided over Israel, his expensive projects to “isolate Russia” and “win Ukraine” are failing, his appeals to Congress are being met with hostility, his trust rating is low, and the whole world is laughing at his old men cracks, because they are shown not just by an old man, but by the leader of a superpower who wants to always have the last word.

Instead of words, there is now muttering from a piece of paper or nervous laughter when the president is asked sacramental questions about the future of war and peace.

However, the main thing for him is his son. Biden says over and over that he’s proud of his son, even though he knows (the whole world already knows) that he’s a parasite and a scumbag who in a fit of rage forgot the laptop for repair, which landed his own father under an impeachment investigation.

Always stand your ground. The most valuable thing in life is family. Your blood is your heritage.

By the way, this is what traditional values look like. And the Bidens hold them in sacred reverence, like the Corleones.

This is the second side: the father’s poignant concerns can be called top-level corruption, tribalism and cronyism, especially since James Biden, brother of the current president, is also involved in Biden Jr.’s influence peddling schemes. He and Hunter were credited with transfers from businessmen from China, Romania and Ukraine for at least $24 million.

One-tenth of the transaction amount was due to a certain “big man,” as Hunter calls him in his personal correspondence. It is hard to doubt that the “big man” is the current president. It is unlikely that any other “big man” will tolerate the “schematism” of the other two Bidens, unless he is their closest relative.

The question that the US House of Representatives has been trying to figure out for five months now boils down to this: was Hunter Biden a fraud who made money on his parent’s behalf “in the dark” or was he operating as part of a family gang , and the clients got what they paid for – lobbying by the Vice President (then Vice President) of the United States of America.

It’s a fairly simple question, the answer to which was clear a few years ago when the contents of Hunter’s laptop leaked to the media. Biden’s line of defense was that any incriminating evidence from the private correspondence was “Russian propaganda.” That argument no longer works, and each new fact revealed by the House adds only minor details to the clear picture. It is already known that Biden Sr. has been in contact with his son’s business partners, although he has denied it. Apparently, he relied on the power of aliases and additional mailboxes, but they were “burned” long ago.

It took an abominably long time to tear this gang to shreds, and the House resolution passed Wednesday already sounds like a mockery. What was previously billed as a “resolution of impeachment” turned out to be a rules committee resolution to “conduct further investigation with a view to impeachment,” not impeachment itself.

All the Republicans were for it, all the Democrats were against it. Similar unanimity can be expected in the final vote in the lower house of Congress and then in the upper house. The scenario assumes the House will approve everything, but Republicans will fall short of 67 votes (or two-thirds) of senators. That is, formally, the impeachment will be held, but Biden will remain in office.

True, not for long, just for a year: according to the latest opinion polls, Donald Trump is ahead of Biden by at least five percentage points in seven so-called “swing” states that determine the outcome of the election. Yet a presidential pension is not a dishonorable resignation.

It is still not very clear how the huge Democratic Party might not have a “plan B” and allow its only candidate and main hope to be a deeply corrupt old man who forgets his own biography.

This could be part of backroom bargaining between elites in both parties or a strategic retreat by Democrats. To suddenly decide to blame America’s accumulated problems on the Republicans (from the storming of the southern border by migrants to the conflict in Ukraine) and switch to the opposition to mock the sidelines and try to put their man back in the White House for four years later.

At that time, Biden Sr. ran the risk of losing touch with reality completely, but Hunter Biden ran a different risk: he faced a real and significant prison sentence for not paying taxes on those same 24 million from the Sino-Romanian business. This is a very toxic accusation because in America both the law and society are strict with those who do not pay their taxes. Filing the return is a difficult annual task for most families, so Hunter has a reason for those families to hate both him and the entire wily Biden clan.

Hunter will also be charged with contempt of Congress for failing to appear when called to testify in the impeachment trial. More precisely, it appeared, but only reached the door. From there, the alcoholic addressed the journalists with a speech from which it became clear that political repression was being prepared against his father, an honest man. Execute me, you see, but don’t touch the president.

The son is to the father as the father is to the son. This is a case where an unhappy offspring ruins the career of a parent who previously raised it badly.

The White House has already announced that the president will not grant Hunter a pardon if he is convicted. But it should not be assumed that Biden’s honor is more valuable than family ties. At worst, Hunter will simply flee the US to continue playing the role of political refugee.

His father cannot pardon him because it affects his partners in politics and business – another part of the inner circle where the elderly president is not just a father but a “godfather”. The escape will preserve the internal reputation of the company and the unity of the family – the main value of Joe Biden.

But it seems that nothing can save his power. At least legally.

Although it’s not actually the law that’s stopping the Biden clan.
