After two consecutive days with deaths from Covid-19, this Sunday there were no reports of deaths, 144 new infections were added and there are 22 people hospitalized. In addition, a new vaccination campaign against Covid-19 is announced.
According to the technical report of the State Committee for Health Safety, the state adds 144 new infections of Covid-19, of which 109 correspond to San Luis capital, 15 to Soledad, two to Matehuala, 13 to Ciudad Valles, one to Tamazunchale, one to Coxcatlán and one to San Vicente Tancuayalab.
They are 85 women and 59 men ranging from a two-month-old baby to a 94-year-old person; 72 of these people have completed their vaccination schedule, six have it incomplete and the rest have not been vaccinated.
Hospital occupancy is 5% in general beds and 1% in beds with ventilators, having until this Sunday 22 people admitted, of whom three are stable, 17 serious and two intubated.
Since the start of the pandemic to date, there have been 241,853 laboratory-confirmed infections, of which 231,731 have been discharged and 7,658 deaths.
Likewise, the State Vaccination Committee announced a new vaccination day from January 16 to 31 in six municipalities, where first and second doses will be applied, as well as reinforcements for people over 18 years of age with Sinovac biological.
In the capital of San Luis Potosí, vaccination will be from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Juan H. Sánchez Health Center, and in Soledad at the San Antonio Health Center in Soledad.
For girls and boys from 5 to 11 years old, the day started on January 14, ends this Monday, January 16 with the application of first and second doses in the Family Medicine Units of IMMS No. 45 at Av. Industrias 105, in No. 47 in Valentín Amador, in the General Hospital of Zone No. 1 in Tomasa Esteves and in the Military Regional Hospital in Coronel Ontañón 153 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
