Agents of Police Post No. 9, San Jorge de Saint Anthony confirmed that during the afternoon of this Saturday there was a alleged femicide in the Achucarro neighborhood of said city.
The victim was a 42-year-old woman identified as Claudelina Ruiz Diaz Ledezma and the alleged perpetrator, Nelson Ramon Aranda Vega. 41 years old.
As detailed, after an argument the man took out a firearm and shot the woman. Later, he tried to end her life. The interveners mentioned that the couple had no children. The man was referred to the Ñemby hospital and later to the Trauma Hospital.
The incident occurred at the woman’s residence, where police officers attended, as well as officials from the Public Ministry, forensic doctors and Criminalistics personnel, who carried out the rigorous procedures.

Second femicide reported this Saturday
It should be remembered that this is the second case of femicide reported this Saturday by the authorities. The first occurred in the Tacumbú neighborhood, in which a 3-year-old woman was the victim, leaving two children orphaned.
