CELAYA, Gto. (OEM-Informex).- With the presence of municipal authorities and after having overcome the fight against the breast cancer, 15 women were benefited during ‘First Delivery of Oncological Wigs 2022’organized by the Sparks of Happiness Celaya Association.
The delivery of 10 wigs, five breast prostheses and four bras took place at the facilities of the System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF), where the director María del Carmen Núñez Mares congratulated the association for the great work he has done for seven years in favor of people suffering from cancer.

He stressed that “the DIF Celaya welcomes this, and all kinds of events that seek to benefit those who need it most, the administration of engineer Francisco Javier Mendoza Márquez, together with the System for the Integral Development of the Family, is the yes to all requests for support that come to us and we are very happy that this afternoon benefits women who need this delivery “.
He thanked all the people who have participated in the different campaigns they have to achieve the objectives, as well as the municipalities of Cortazar, Salvatierra, Jaral del Progreso, León, Jerécuaro, Pénjamo and Salamanca for the mutual support they have provided.
He explained that the five prostheses, four bras and nine oncological wigs were delivered to women from Celaya, while one more wig went to one from Dolores Hidalgo. He indicated that so far this year they have received 500 braids from Celaya, Salamanca, Cortazar, Salvatierra, Tarimoro, Apaseo el Alto, Comonfort, Pénjamo, the United States, Mexico City and Guadalajara.
He recalled that in 2021 they delivered more than a thousand braids to the oncological wig factory and in total 100 wigs and more than 50 breast prostheses have been delivered in Celaya, Salvatierra and Cortazar.
During the event, two girls, one eight and one 10 years old, handed in their braids and in gratitude they were given recognition for their participation. In the place, he stated that those interested in donating their hair can go to the Chispita offices located at 228 Galaxia Street, Colonia Santa Anita, every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Similarly, he recalled that the association also receives donations of caps, pantries, medicines, among other things.
