Vouchers for a 7-day SPA vacation worth BGN 400 per person are offered by the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism to health insured Bulgarian citizens after completing a full course of vaccination against COVID-19.
This is proposed by (BSBSPA) in a letter to the Prime Minister Stefan Yanev, Deputy Prime Minister Pekanov and the line ministers of economy, health and tourism.
The tourism organization believes that the funds in question should be provided through the national plan for reconstruction and sustainability or through the state budget of the country.
The vouchers are expected to last one year and can be used for 6 nights with breakfast and dinner and include 5 procedures for prevention or prevention of health through mineral waters, healing climate and peloids.
The main goal of the idea is to improve the health status of the population, to reduce the incidence of COVID-19 and to reduce health care costs.
“Vouchers for health prevention” is a specific and effective measure, which is backed by the members of the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and Spa Tourism – 60 legal entities, investors and owners of more than 100 of the largest hotel complexes in Bulgaria, the largest companies – employers in the Tourism sector.
