They link the process to “El Marro”, now yes, by huachicoleo

Federal judge linked the process to José Antonio Yépez Ortiz “El Marro”, for organized crime for theft of hydrocarbons.

This Wednesday, the control judge of the Altiplano Federal Criminal Justice Center granted the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) two months to carry out its complementary investigation against “El Marro” who will remain subject to ex officio preventive detention in the criminal maximum security located in Almoloya.

The term for the complementary investigation ends on October 7.

Yépez Ortiz is identified as one of the main generators of violence in the state of Guanajuato.

According to the investigations, the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel, under the command of Marro, extracted up to 1.5 million liters a month for each clandestine outlet it opened in the state of Guanajuato.

Yépez Ortiz sought to diversify the business of the LP gas cartel, taking advantage of the lack of security and contacted a specialist to milk pipelines.

To operate, “El Marro” formed a citizen protection network that caused disturbances or held checkpoints at strategic points so that the federal authorities would not reach the areas controlled by the cartel.

For each act, the cartel paid 2,500 pesos to each person and a supply of stolen fuel.

After the judge considered the evidence provided by the FGR sufficient, he decided to link it to the process.

This is the second process by which “El Marro” is linked because in the jurisdiction of Guanajuato a local judge authorized the state prosecutor’s office to investigate him for aggravated kidnapping.

On August 2, “El Marro” was found inside a home in the Juventino Rosas home where an alleged kidnapping victim was also rescued.

For these events, elements of the Armed Forces and the local Prosecutor’s Office detained Yépez Ortiz and eight other people.

“El Marro” and the detainees were placed at the disposal of the control judge and pointed out for aggravated kidnapping and attempted murder, however, the Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office has not specified whether Yépez Ortiz has already been linked to the process for the second of these crimes.
