Manu & Konny Reimann: A weekend trip to Texas changed your life
The Reimanns’ plot of land in Hamburg-Schenefeld already gave an idea of their enthusiasm for America with a log cabin, a flag in the garden and an American caravan. But only a friend took the final step to emigrate to the United States. He invited the two to his home in Texas. “Then we flew to Texas for a long weekend and looked at each other on the second day and said: But that’s also nice here,” as Manu revealed in the video.
From then on, it was clear for both of them to stand up in Texas new life to build up. Resolutely, the Reimanns moved with their children to the US state and fulfilled their lifelong dream with “Konny Island” and several holiday homes.
The Reimanns conquer Hawaii
But the emigrant dream was not over yet. A few years later, a vacation to Hawaii might mark the next change of scenery for the family. Here it was love at first sight. The plan to buy another house, however, failed because of the financing due to the high real estate prices. “We could only afford one,” Manu explained in the video. But the decision was made in just five minutes. Since the love for the island paradise prevailed, the home became velvet lighthouse sold in Texas. The Reimanns have been living happily in the Central Pacific for four years.
