Zacatecas. – The Zacatecas authorities confirmed the finding 14 bodies in the municipality of Fresnillo and one more in Calera.
In a statement, it was reported that Governor Alejandro Tello Cristerna called an extraordinary meeting of the Local Security Coordination Group to address this issue and propose a strategy for immediate action on these events.
At that meeting, the Office of the Attorney General of Zacatecas Justice reported that there are 14 located bodies This morning in the municipality of Fresnillo, they have been transferred to the Zacatecan Institute of Forensic Sciences (IZCF), for processing and to determine sex and causes of death, information that will be detailed once the expert work is completed.
Likewise, it was reported that in the Río Frío community in Calera, two packages covered by blankets were found, corresponding to a lifeless body.
Following these events related to organized crime and registered on federal highway 45, it has been reported that since the early hours of this day, the members of the Local Coordination Group have been in communication to immediately reinforce the presence of state and federal corporations in Fresnillo, where the discovery was mass of corpses.
