Hundreds of Puerto Ricans fired January 2020 yesterday, Friday, in the Placita de Santurce with celebrations and even fireworks.
It was one of the multiple calls to say goodbye to a month full of important news events, which marked the lives of thousands locally and internationally.

Social network users have shared several videos in which hundreds of people see the typical countdown of the end of the year, but this time waiting for the month of February. Red fireworks adorned the night while the crowd shouted for joy.

The tremors, however, occur since last December 28. However, the most powerful was raised on January 7, when an earthquake of magnitude 6.4 was felt throughout the island, but that caused the greatest structural damage in the southern area.
