A hurt Cuban mother went to social networks to denounce a crime that caused outrage among Internet users inside and outside the Island, as she claims that her ex-partner had abused her daughter and escaped to the United States after the minor became pregnant.
The woman denounced this betrayal through a video, which was shared by journalist Mario J. Pentón, and states that she feels devastated for not having been able to perceive the danger signs in time.
The complainant affirms that she will not rest until the subject is brought to justice for having abused her stepdaughter, for which she wants to perform a DNA test to verify that he is the father of her newborn granddaughter at the end of January.
This comparison, the woman points out, could be made by taking a DNA sample from another daughter that the man would have left in Cuba before going abroad. Although she assures that this is not necessary, she maintains that the greatest proof is his granddaughter, who looks more like him with each day she passes.
“My daughter is not going to tell me a lie and if she fell for so long it was out of fear, because he told her that if she spoke I would go to prison because she was a minor. The one she is suffering from is my daughter and I am not going to expose her to the networks,” the woman indicated in her video, referring to the disbelief with which her case is received.
“There is only one truth and it will come to light. (…) He is going to make a mistake there. However, he knows that he could not return to Cuba,” the woman added.
The hurt mother, recognizing her mistake, urges other parents to be careful with their daughters, as they may find themselves in a similar situation.
“Take care of your daughters, don’t leave them with anyone (…) I made the mistake of trusting too much.”
The journalist’s video was filled with comments of solidarity directed at the mother, which encouraged her not to give up in this fight, since the subject had to be brought to justice.
Several of these comments urged the woman to take more concrete measures, such as revealing the identity and face of the man who betrayed her trust, since during her complaint, the mother avoided mentioning names.
