They arrest an Italian doctor who pretended to immunize against Covid-19 against vaccines

The Italian authorities have arrested a doctor who pretended to administer covid-19 vaccines to anti-vaccines so that they could obtain the certificate known in the country as ‘Green Pass’. This document is mandatory in Italy to be able to access, for example, leisure or even public transport.

The operation was carried out in the cities of Prato and Florence, where the doctor was practicing. The detainee is a family doctor and, according to the first hypotheses of the authorities, he pretended to administer the doses by conviction that vaccines are not useful to stop the pandemic and not in exchange for money.

For this fraud, the doctor is accused of falsification, fraud, omission of official documents and embezzlement, the latter accusation for having discarded the dose and pretend that you had managed them correctly. Besides this doctor 19 other people are being investigated.

The operation began after the complaint of a mother who was concerned that her son, falsely vaccinated, could get the coronavirus. Still, there were already some suspicions from the authorities about some kind of fraud related to coronavirus vaccines.

It is not the only fraud

It is not the only fraud of this type that occurs in Italy. On December 21, the authorities detained a nurse from Sicily who also pretended to administer vaccines against Covid-19. The mode of action of this nurse consisted of emptying the liquid from an empty gauze and then pricking the needle into the arm without content.

In this case, in addition, the woman charged 400 euros for this activity. In that operation, a leader of the Italian anti-vaccine movement was also arrested.
