Anyone who has a TV or radio at home and uses this type of equipment in the premises or vehicles he owns, is obliged to pay the RTV subscription. There are exceptions, however. Check who is released from the subscription in 2021.
In 2021, the rates in the RTV subscription will change
The National Broadcasting Council announced that the RTV subscription rates will be higher than a year ago. The increase will be almost two zlotys a month. One fee is payable regardless of the number of receivers in the household. Therefore, a separate fee does not apply to RTV devices in a car or utility room.
In the case of companies and institutions, you pay for each used radio and television set. The exceptions to this rule are sanatoriums, nurseries, educational, medical and social welfare centers, which pay one fee, regardless of the number of receivers.
We will pay for the RTV subscription:
- for 1 month for a radio receiver – PLN 7.50 (if the subscriber pays the fee each month, then the fee for the period of 12 months will be PLN 90.00).
- for 1 month for a television or television and radio set – PLN 24.50 (if the subscriber pays the fee each month, then the fee for the period of 12 months will be PLN 294.00).

Who is exempt from the RTV subscription?
To apply for an exemption from the subscription, you must submit an application to the post office. We will get the right to use a free radio and TV license from the next month after completing the necessary formalities at the post office.
