Nokia Android 11: these smartphones are getting an update
Nokia shared plans for the Android 11-update, but later took the message offline. However, several websites were able to take a screenshot of the roadmap. This gives us a good idea of which Nokia smartphones can expect an Android 11 update.
The Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 2.2 will be updated first: in the fourth quarter of this year (or the first quarter of 2021) these devices should receive an update. This is followed by the Nokia 4.2, 2.4, 2.3, 3.4 and 1.3, which should run on the latest Android version in the first quarter of 2021. Older phones will follow later, such as the Nokia 3.2, 7.2 and 6.2.

Nokia’s update plans may still change; this may be the reason the company took the roadmap offline. HMD Global, the company that makes the Nokia smartphones, also does not share specific release dates for the updates. As soon as more is known about this, you will of course read it Android Planet.

This is new in Android 11
