The new government quarter may cost up to NOK 36.5 billion. It appears in an external quality assurance Aftenposten mentioned last week. The requirements for security are pointed out as the main reason for the price.
Between 3.5-4 billion has already been spent, according to the report. These have, among other things, gone to preliminary projects and demolition.
