These duos can already store renovation plans in ‘House Made’: “We’ll get over it” (Beringen)

Antwerp/Beringen

Nine couples were at the start of the second season of ‘House Made’, but a week after the kick-off there are only six left. On Tuesday evening, the jury sent two more duos, in Antwerp and Beringen, home.

“If we lose weight now, I think I’ll shed a tear,” said Charlotte before the jury announced which duos may start the renovation in Antwerp. The Truiense, together with her friend Sky, had done everything they could for the mansion – even reviewed and analyzed the previous season. But their cozy model could not convince. “It was nice to dream about it while tinkering. It’s a shame anyway, but it’ll be okay. We’ll get over it,” said the disappointed couple.

Roofer Cedric and ballerina Anaïs, who want to install their kitchen on the second floor, are allowed to dream a little longer. They now have to compete against creatives Lien and Melvin, who have a completely different format in mind. The four of them have to start on the structural work, but then they have to agree on the design first. It seems that juror Cerina will have to make the decision for them on Thursday.

And also in Beringen decisions were made. There it is cowboys Didier and Melanie and Younes and Eline who are allowed to take care of the detached house. Their night work to get the models in order has paid off. They also differed about the renovation – especially about the stairs – but after some advice from site manager Johny, they reached a compromise.

Mattia and Jasmine were the unlucky ones in Limburg. They wanted to surprise with every room and offer a different experience. They integrated some Moroccan influences and also a lot of Christmas lights, but the jury was not wild about the plans of the Genk youngsters. “A choice is a choice and the jury has made its choice. We can’t do more,” they took it sportingly.(Remember)
