These artists are participating in the new season Dear Singers

The seven famous singers have traveled to Seville and will play their musical sounds from a Spanish hacienda. The brand new season can be seen on NPO 1 from 11 August. Besides the fact that the program is a true viewing figure gun, it also serves as a good springboard for their careers for many new artists. Singers who have been around for a while also benefit from it, because every season produces a mega hit.

This season is extra special, because the program is celebrating its anniversary. This edition will be the fifteenth in the series. Especially for the anniversary season there will be a podcast led by presenter and singer Jaap Reesema. Every week, Jaap talks to one of his fellow artists to discuss songs that have a special meaning for them. On Instagram he already let us know how he experienced this. “By far the best program I have ever participated in,” he writes under the announcement.

There will also be a portrait series, where fans will get a look behind the scenes of the private lives of the singers. In the documentary series ‘At home with…’ former candidate Karsu visits the singers’ homes and gives them a tour of their palace.

Not only on TV, but also in Ahoy the Dear Singers good luck. With Beste Zangers Live, singers sing the most famous hits from the program in front of a live audience. And for fans there is good news: there will be a second edition of Beste Zangers Live next year.
