The eight qualifiers for the quarterfinals in the women’s league were already known, after matchday 9 of the regular phase of the championship was played, where Jocoro and Alianza currently lead both groups A and B, respectively.
In group A, dominated by the fire team with 25 units, Águila, Limeño and Dragon are also the three classified below Jocoro.
B, led by Alianza, also qualified Isidro Metapán, Santa Tecla and Platense.
The teams that said goodbye to the championship are Firpo, Fuerte San Francisco del A and the Tigrillo team, which for the first time is left out of the second phase of the tournament and 11 Deportivo, from group B.
Looking ahead to the last date of the regular phase of the tournament, the teams will look for the results to finish in the first positions of the table that are currently led and have been throughout the tournament by the fire team and the alliance members.
Regarding the results of the last date, Fuerte San Francisco fell 0 to 2 against the mythological Dragon, Águila beat Municipal Limeño 3 to 0, Jocoro beat Firpo with a 6 to 1 win, in group A.
In group B, Alianza could not play the match against 11 Deportivo, because the capital team arrived late at its destination, Platense fell by the narrowest margin before Santa Tecla, and in the Santaneco derby, Isidro Metapán beat FAS 1-7.
