This was motivated by President Jokowi’s reprimand to his aides during the plenary cabinet meeting at the State Palace, Jakarta, June 18, 2020. Although, the video was only revealed to the public through the YouTube account of the Presidential Secretariat, Sunday (6/28/2020).

The public also guessed who the minister would be reshuffled by President Jokowi. Starting from the Minister of Education Nadiem Makarim, Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto, Minister of Religion Fachrul Razi to Minister of Justice and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly. There are also those who predict the names of ministers who are likely to be defended by President Jokowi.

Kedai Kopi Survey Institute Founder Hendri Satrio predicts that at least a number of ministers will survive. They were Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono and Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.

“If it survives, the most Prabowo, Erick Thohir, Basuki and Retno,” Hendri said to Kompas.com, Sunday (07/07/2020).

Hendri also revealed the reasons why the ministers would survive. Prabowo, said Hendri, during his time as Minister of Defense made many breakthroughs and good improvements in the ministry. This is one of the reasons why Prabowo will not be replaced.

“Prabowo is actually Jokowi’s best friend. During his time as Minister of Defense, he made breakthroughs and good reforms,” ​​he said.
