These are the 4 ‘blows’ that García Harfuch has dealt to the CJNG at CDMX

Nemesio Oseguera, el Mencho, leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), took advantage of a fracture in the Unión Tepito, in December 2017, to plan the conquest of Mexico City that, until then, used only as a financial center.

The way to dominate the capital was Sergio Flores Concha, El Tortas, founder of the Anti Unión Tepito cartel, who met Mencho men in federal prison.

Months later El Tortas asked the CJNG to help exterminate Unión Tepito, as leaders of that group, which he served for years, ordered the murder of his brother for not paying extortion.

Weapons, hitmen, and drugs was what the CJNG offered to Tortas. To date, the group led by El Mencho has a presence in seven of the 16 mayoralties of the capital, where the number of crimes increased.

The Investigation and Citizen Security Police of Mexico City, under the command of Omar García Harfuch, has given, in little more than a year, forceful blows to the CJNG, arresting three chiefs of the plaza and a head of hitmen from the Mencho.

One of those actions, in September 2019, was also unpublished. And it is that on that occasion agents led by García Harfuch broke into the bowels of the main operation center of Mencho.

Along with Army personnel, the agents from the capital arrived in Zapopan, Jalisco, where they arrested Mauricio Hiram Suárez, El Mawicho, a hitman that El Mencho sent to the capital to settle an account.

The Mawicho was identified as one of the material authors of the homicide of the citizens of Israeli origin Ben Sutchi and Alon Azoulay, which occurred in July 2019 in a restaurant located in Artz Square.

Investigations into the crime revealed that behind the double murder was the CJNG, and that one of the material perpetrators arrived from Jalisco to commit the attack.

The movements of these people were followed and their whereabouts were known at a home located in Zapopan, Jalisco, where they took refuge after the crime, under the protection of CJNG members. The action was successful, as El Mawicho was arrested and is imprisoned in a maximum security prison, where he faces charges for the double murder.

Other actions that the police under García Harfuch have carried out against the CJNG are the arrest of three mencho envoys to direct the actions in Mexico City.

On May 29, 2019, Venustiano Carranza Aldo Jesús Azcona Cortés, El Enano and / or El Chucky was detained at the mayor’s office.

Almost 10 months later, on February 12, 2020, Carlos Fernando Huerta Núñez, El Viejón, who had replaced El Enano and / or El Chucky as head of the CJNG plaza in the capital, and who coordinated the attack in Plaza, was arrested. Artz.

The third arrest was on April 10, when María del Carmen Albarrán García, Cecy Albarrán, who was in charge of the plaza and whose main mission was to fight the Unión Tepito Cartel, was captured.
