The “Guardian” has been choosing the best 100 footballers in the world for several years. 241 jury members from 71 countries vote on the ranking and the winner. 2020 was one of the most successful years in FC Bayern’s history. Finally, Munich won the triple of the German championship, DFB Cup and Champions League.
Unsurprisingly, there are eleven FC Bayern players in the “Guardian” selection – albeit only one star in the top 10. English champions FC Liverpool have three players.
In addition to the players from FC Bayern, four other Bundesliga professionals are represented: two from Borussia Dortmund and two from RB Leipzig.
