Thérèse Dion, mother of 14 children including Céline Dion, died at 92 Friday morning, according to TVA Nouvelles.
The one who had greatly contributed to launching the career of the famous singer, became known for various activities. She had thus marketed the famous Maman Dion pâtés, in addition to having launched the Maman Dion Foundation, which offers clothing and school supplies to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
She was also involved in the creation of Maison Adhémar-Dion, a palliative care center.
