This morning, President Rumen Radev signed a decree to appoint a caretaker government in a composition proposed by caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.

There is only one change in the composition – of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In the first cabinet, Ivaylo Tsenov, now Stefan Dimitrov, was appointed for this post.

President Radev has scheduled the elections for members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria and the early parliamentary elections for June 9, 2024.

Later today, Head of State Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Yotova will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the caretaker government, which will take place in the National Assembly. The announced time for taking the oath is 9 am.
