There are significant traffic restrictions at the weekend

At the weekend, when going outside Riga and other cities, you have to take into account the road construction works that are already taking place on 121 road sections throughout the country, informs “Latvijas Valsts ceļi” (LVC).

LVC reports that the busiest stage of the road construction season is currently underway, the works are taking place throughout the country. With this in mind, drivers need to plan their trips in time, provide extra time on the road and, in order to plan routes more successfully, from time to time also look at the road repair map VAS Latvian State Roads (LVC) website www.lvceli.lv.
