Theologian Mouhanad Khorchide is an advisor to the newly created Documentation Center for Political Islam – and one of the reasons why the Islamic community does not want to be involved. In the “press” interview, he reacts to allegations and defines “political Islam”.
The press: IGGÖ President Ümit Vural described you in a “press” interview as “hostile” to the religious community. Is that true?
Mouhanad Khorchide: This is an evil assumption. When I express criticism, it is in a constructive sense. That doesn’t mean that I am hostile to the organization.
But you are not really happy with the IGGÖ either.
