The companies Actor theater y Wizard Fran What will perform in Córdoba, within the Andalusian Network of Public Theaters. The Andalusian Network of Public Theaters programs this week two new theater shows in the Córdoba municipalities of Hinojosa del Duque and in Iznajar. It is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports and the councils of the municipalities of Hinojosa del Duque and Iznájar, members of the program.
Hinojosa received this Wednesday the performance of the Mago Fran Qué theater company, which puts on the show The magician who whispered to the lettuce. It’s a family show with a unique format in Spain since in the same show it mixes different disciplines of magic: visual, comic, children’s, Chinese shadows, great illusions… A surprising and fun magic montage with which the magician Fran Qué will guide the public with his humor, his strong personality and his ability to improvise in a Journey through the imagination to enjoy the magic.
On Saturday, the company Histrion Theater presents Juana, the queen who did not want to reign in the Iznájar multipurpose room. It is work in which Gema Matarranz gives voice and body to Juana I of Castile, who, a prisoner of her own destiny, survived all those who disowned her and left her to die slowly. On stage, Juana searches between memory and despair to eunderstand a life imposed by the needs of a State. Parents, children and husband are present on the scene in a painful daydream that drags her down the path of madness. A look born from Juana, witness and victim of palace intrigues and ambitions, who claims the right to love as a reason not to die.
