The Zlín company won a state contract for respirators. The only one in our country

“Our respirators have been certified by VÚBP Prague, thus meeting the strict criteria of the European standard. They contain nanofiber, so they are a certain superstructure compared to the requirements set by the standard focused on protection against viruses, “said Tomáš Dudák, CEO of the company.

So far, the company has received a one-month order from the state for 1.5 million respirators.

“We hope to receive more by the end of the year,” added Tomáš Dudák, adding that the company managed to start production in really record time and secure monthly production capacity for three million respirators.

Mainly for hospitals

The joint-stock company SPUR supplies its SpurTex® respirators mainly to hospitals and municipalities primarily in the Czech Republic, a smaller part of the production is then intended for sale to end customers via the sellers’ websites and a newly established own e-shop.

“People are interested in respirators, but also viscose sewn veils, which are comfortable to wear, breathe well and are also equipped with nanotextiles, so they are functional throughout their use,” explained Tomáš Dudák.
