The Zaporizhia NPP can no longer be protected, Grossi states after a visit.

The Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is now impossible to defend, since the number of troops in the plant area has increased significantly.

According to RBC-Ukraine with reference Sky NewsRafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said.

After his visit to the territory of the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye NPP, he noted that despite the work of the IAEA expert group on the territory of the plant, the situation continues to be unstable.

“Obviously, military activity is increasing throughout the region. Therefore, the station cannot be protected,” Grossi said.

Recall that yesterday, March 29, Grossi came to the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP for the second time. He stated that the IAEA is developing a new concept for protecting the plant.
