The writer Antonio de Benito publishes a new children’s book ‘Pat y Nando’ that addresses accessibility in the city

It tells the story of Patricia Méndez and Fernando Sanz, who are Pat and Nando, two friends and classmates from 6th grade. One day they decide to go to school skating, which is their favorite sport and activity.

But – the synopsis continues – in that first trip to school they realize that it is not so easy to ride on skates through the city: very high curbs, inopportune manhole covers, pedestrians and rude drivers, few sections of bike lanes … They think that it is best to write a letter to the mayor of the city to remedy it.

Antonio de Benito (Arcos de Jalón, Soria), currently works as a Primary teacher at the Sagrado Corazón School in Logroño. He has published more than 220 books, most of them for children, with which he has developed campaigns to encourage and promote reading.
