The works, as confirmed yesterday by the City Council, have been paralyzed for three weeks.
What at first was a simple action, designed by municipal technicians to pave and minimally equip the municipal plot located between Navia and Muros del Nalón streets, seems to have become complicated. The Alvargonzález Contratas machines stopped working around January 20. According to municipal sources, without giving further details, the problem is due to “differences in criteria” on the way of executing the works de Alvargonzález, which was awarded the works for the fairgrounds for a price of 648,742 euros plus VAT.
