Wolverhampton’s Wanderers on Monday celebrated their victory in the penultimate round of the English Football Premier League by returning to sixth place in the Eurocup zone.
Wanderers beat London’s Crystal Palace 2-0 at home.
The game was similar in the first half, but the home team scored. Four minutes before the end of the first half, “Wanderers” played to the empty goal, beating Daniel Podensem with his head.
In the second part of the game, the home team dominated, and in the 68th minute Honijs Kastro, after receiving a pass, turned around his axis and sent the ball into the goal – 2: 0.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United lost hopes of playing in the UEFA Europa League, which recognized Liverpool’s Everton superiority at home 0: 1. The goal was scored by Richard Larlison, who stood out at the beginning of the second half.
Premierly, Liverpool has already been crowned the winner of the championship, scoring 93 points in 36 games. The City of Manchester has already won the silver with 75 points, but the Chelsea from London is in the third position with 63 points.
Lester’s City and Manchester’s are next with 62 points, but the sixth place is taken by Wanderers with 59 points instead of the last ticket to the European Cups. However, if Chelsea wins the FA Cup, the winner of the seventh position will also play in the European League.
