While filming for season 3 is currently underway, the series “The Witcher” has just announced the recruitment of six new actors for this new chapter expected soon on Netflix.
New recruits. Season 3 of “The Witcher”, which is currently filming in Morocco near the town of Erfoud, has just unveiled the names of six new actors who will appear on screen there: Ryan Hayes, Michalina Olszanska, Kate Winter, Martyn Ellis, Harvey Quinn, and Poppy Almond.
Ryan Hayes (Carnival Row) will notably play the mage Artaud Terranova who, in the books, is among those who try to capture Ciri and who took part in the Uprising of Thanedd. Michalina Olszanska will also play the role of a mage, but whose exact identity has not been revealed. Kate Winter will lend her features to the character of Putney, while Martyn Ellis will be Barker.
By the end of Season 2, Geralt had managed to join Ciri and Yennefer, while the big bad Wild Hunt made an appearance. In the synopsis for season 3 – whose air date has still not been revealed – we learn that, “As the kings, mages, and monsters of the continent try to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri from Cintra to on the run, determined to protect this new family which has just been formed against those who seek to destroy it”, can we read.
