The soloist of the Italian group Maneskin, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam last night, tested negative for drugs, Euronews reported. We recall that Damiano David was suspected of having used a drug during the live broadcast of the show on television.
This was announced by the European Union for broadcasting. Along with the relief of the result, from there express and concern that such scandals darken the atmosphere of the song contest.
During the voting and summing up of the votes, the cameras showed the participants in the competition, who were sitting in the so-called green room. One of the shots shows David leaning over the table in front of him and making a movement, which according to many viewers shows that he used cocaine. In fact, from the footage cannot be said categorically what happened because there are drinks in front of David.
In social networks Maneskin denied all charges against their soloist. David himself said he did not use cocaine.
The group and its soloist, as well as the leadership of the Italian delegation, are insisted that the test be taken immediately, but the organizers of the competition did not have the opportunity to organize such a procedure.

According to Maneskin, one of the cups she was at the table broken and Damiano collected the pieces. The EBU confirmed that there were windows at the site. The organizers are researching the videos, promising to provide additional information.
It is not reported whether the winners of the competition are in danger of disqualification if the allegations are confirmed.
