The WHO chief with new demands to China for transparency about the corona outbreak

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says it is still difficult to access information from China.

– The reason why the investigations of where the virus originated is politicized, is because we do not get the access to information we had expected. We ask China to be so kind and share data, says Tedros.

WHO member countries, including Germany, are working on a global pandemic treaty that requires full transparency in the event of an outbreak. If not, it must have consequences, says Germany’s Minister of Health Jens Spahn.
