The water temperature in Latvia’s largest rivers and lakes on Sunday morning is +16 .. + 20 degrees, according to the data of the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center.

In both lakes and Venta, Lielupe, Daugava and Aiviekste the water temperature ranges from +17 to +20 degrees, in Gauja the water has cooled to +16 .. + 18 degrees, in some smaller rivers the temperature fluctuates around +15 degrees.
Water temperature in the sea +14 .. + 18 degrees, on the Kurzeme coast of the Gulf of Riga +9 .. + 13 degrees.
Next week, slightly warmer and sunnier weather is expected, so the water temperature will rise by one degree, weather forecasters predict.
