The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley, believes that war in Ukraine will last a long time.
He stated this on briefing after the meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Support to Ukraine (the so-called “Ramstein-4”), which took place in a virtual format.
“Today is the 147th day since the beginning of the Russian invasion, illegal and unprovoked, large-scale, strong against weak. This fight is likely to be a long-term conflict,” the American general said.
