A dramatic accident occurred this Sunday, February 13 on the A314, near the town of Vantoux, in the Strasbourg – Nancy direction. Three young women were in the vehicle. One of the passengers, aged 19, died. Another, of the same age, was seriously injured while the 21-year-old driver escaped unscathed.
The young woman who died was from Thionville, while the driver and the seriously injured occupant came from Pont-à-Mousson and belonged to the same family.
For reasons still undetermined, which the gendarmes of the Saint-Avold motorway platoon will have to elucidate, the vehicle left the road and hit the guardrail. Traffic was still heavily disrupted Monday morning.
