Today, Monday 21 and 22 November, the embargo on the publication of reviews of the vampire action game in the Wild West Evil West setting by developers Flying Wild Hog and publisher Focus Entertainment has been lifted. Journalists put their scores on the games.
Representatives from 22 gaming media gave the project an average rating of 76 out of 100.
Reviewers point out that Evil West isn’t reinventing the wheel, but it doesn’t have to be. The game is like a great B-movie that you can watch with your brain off and enjoy. However, the game has a weak script and some glitches.
Evil West is set in an alternate version of the Wild West that mixes classic Western influences with supernatural and modern technology. All of America has been taken over by the scourge of vampires. During the adventure, the player takes on the role of one of the members of a monster-fighting organization. To do so, the player uses a firearm, a lightning-powered gauntlet, and various gadgets. Also, over time, you can learn new skills that will make your further adventure easier.
