it is unique and is inspired by the 250 GTO

ONLY ONE – Is called Ferrari homologated, but it will be difficult to see her on the street. It is in fact a one-off model, made by the Ferrari One-Off department. It was wanted by a loyal European customer of the Cavallino, for which the stylists of the Ferrari Style Center have designed an evocative bodywork, which is inspired by that of the legendary 250 GTO of 1962, where the letter O stands for Homologated, a grand touring road also conceived for driving on the track.

ALL NEW – If the inspiration for style comes from the past, the technical basis is the current Ferrari 812 Superfas. However, the Ferrari homologated it has been completely redesigned: the only parts in common are the headlights and the windshield. Designed by the interior style center led by Flavio Manzoni, the bodywork of the Homologated Ferrari incorporates the 250 GTO in various details, such as the openings in the front hood, the vertical air intake behind the front wheels and the rear spoiler upwards. Then there are three horizontal slits in place of the classic rear window, reminiscent of those of racing cars.

BLUE AND BLACK – Designed over two years, the Ferrari homologated has a specific three-layer red paint (called Magma red) and external carbon fiber trims, while the interior is almost completely black: the exception is the electric blue four-point seat belts, combined with a part of the sports seats. As in the 812 Superfast, between the seats there is a thin console that houses the keys to operate the gearbox, embellished with a retro finish, reminiscent of the paint of some Ferraris of the 50s and 60s.

A CLASSIC V12 – The Maranello house did not disclose technical information, but the Ferrari homologated it shouldn’t differ too much from the 812 Superfast, which is equipped with the well-known, and appreciated, naturally aspirated 6.5 V12 engine with 800 HP and 718 Nm of torque, combined with the 7-speed double-clutch robotised gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
