The University of Puerto Rico will resume classes from tomorrow

The University of Puerto Rico (UPR) reported that the campuses will resume classes and work from tomorrow, Monday, after the National Hurricane Center (NHC, for its acronym in English) yesterday discontinued the tropical storm warning for Puerto Rico after the close passage of the cyclone Laura.

“At the moment, no significant damage has been reported in the university system; however, we have requested reports on the status of the units to take the necessary measures. We are investing in the infrastructure of the enclosures and completing rehabilitation works due to the effects of previous atmospheric phenomena, we want to make sure that none of the projects has been affected ”, said the president of the UPR, Jorge Haddock, by written communication.
