Nothing true, says Fauci in an interview with CNN: “In the nearly five decades that I have worked as a civil servant, I have never publicly supported a political candidate.”
His words were used in the commercial without his permission, he says. “I made this statement months ago. I discussed the efforts of public health officials,” explains Fauci.

Trump also leaves via Twitter know little to feel for the criticism of the infection expert: “These are Fauci’s own words. We have done ‘phenomenal’ work according to a number of governors and many people agree. Vaccines and medicines are on the way.”
