Washington.- U.S reached 29 million 490 thousand 682 confirmed cases of covid and 535 thousand 584 deaths from the disease of covid, according to the independent count from Johns Hopkins University.
This balance at 20:00 local time is 708 more deaths than on Sunday and 54,865 new infections.
California is now the state hardest hit by the pandemic with 56,643 deaths, followed by New York (49,016), Texas (46,519), Florida (32,348), Pennsylvania (24,566), New Jersey ( 23,925) and Illinois (23,217).
Other states with a large number of deaths are Georgia (18,262), Ohio (17,870), Michigan (16,779), Massachusetts (16,673) or Arizona (16,553).
