The turnover of “Virši-A” increased by 67.3% in nine months

Revenues in the “Virši-A” stores increased by 18.2%, reaching 30,141 million euros.

The company’s energy sector, established more than a year ago, instead insured in the first nine months of 2022 a quantity of electricity sold to the company’s customers for 11,766 million euros. Compared to the corresponding period last year, this is a decrease of 39.7%.

The company’s management explains that the end of the nine months was marked by several significant events. Among these, a new refueling station was opened in Daugavpils, in the construction of which more than two million euros have been invested, providing motorists with a full range of services, including compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling options. The decision to build a new station and ensure the availability of methane in the Daugavpils region was taken after winning the tender announced by JSC “Daugavpils satiksme” for refueling its buses with methane.

Furthermore, in September, “Virši-A” signed a contract with the European Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and the Environment. The contract foresees that within the next two years, until the second quarter of 2024, 28 connection points will be installed with a charging capacity of at least 150 kilowatts (kW) in 20 “Virši-A” service stations and at least 870 amps ( A) extensive connection to the distribution system manager.

Furthermore, in the third quarter of this year, “Virši-A” obtained the international certification “ISO 9001”.

The turnover of “Virši-A” in the nine months of 2021 was 161,581 million euros.

It has already been reported that in 2021 the turnover of the company “Virši-A” increased by 28.8%, reaching 220.882 million euros, while the company’s certified profit was 6.616 million euros, or 58% in more than the previous year. The company “Virši-A” comprises the parent company “Virši-A”, SIA “Viršu nekustamie espasumi”, SIA “Virši logistika” and SIA “Virši Renergy”.

According to information published by “Nasdaq Riga”, the shareholders of the company before the listing of the shares in the alternative market of the “First North” stock exchange were Jānis Riekstiņš (23.8%), Jānis Rušmanis (23.6%), Ruta Plūme ( 23.6%), Ilgvars Zuzulis (14.5%) and Andris Priedītis (14.5%). As of November 11, 2021, the company’s shares have been included in the “First North” alternative market of the “Nasdaq Riga”.
