Tragic ending befell a mayor in Ukraine and his family were found dead. Mayor Olga Sukhenko and her family had previously been kidnapped by Russian troops.
The mayor, 50-year-old Olga Sukhenko, her husband and their son, were kidnapped by Russian forces on March 24, police said.
Residents say the mayor and her husband have refused to cooperate with Russian troops invading the area.
The bodies of Olga Sukhenko and her family were found in a village west of Kiev. The discovery of this body was made known when the authorities Ukraine found many bodies in Bucha and the surrounding towns and villages left by the Russian troops.
The bodies of five civilians were found with their hands tied in a village west of Kiev, including the bodies of the mayor, her husband and son.
