The ten highest paid footballers in the world! Surprising change at the top

The best paid footballer in the world is no longer Lionel Messi (34), but Cristiano Ronaldo (36)!

It’s the next stat in which the new United star overtakes the PSG star. While Ronaldo has been running straight away since his transfer (3 games / 4 goals), Messi still has problems in Paris (3 games / 0 goals).

Ronaldo, Messi and then? According to the successful business magazine “Forbes”, that’s how much the world’s best-paid footballers earn!

Forbes found these numbers by speaking to clubs, player agents, commercial sponsors and global football experts. The salaries for the 2021/2022 season were determined in each case. Taxes are not included.

Messi collects “only” just under 94 million euros. Almost 64 million of this amount to salaries and bonuses and around 30 million to partnerships and advertising deals.
